Top Ten Tuesday – Top ten authors I’ve read the most books from

I’m so excited about this week’s theme!

Without further ado, here is my list! Hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

  1. R.L. Stine with 22 books, and I read the 22th only yesterday! I love Goosebumps~
  2. Lisa J. Smith with 11 books, four of them belonging to The Vampire Diaries, the others to The Night World series! I must finish both!
  3. J.K. Rowling with 10 books, all related to Harry Potter
  4. Ann M. Martin with 8 books. I love The Babysitter Club and I’d be glad to read more books from the series if I have the chance!
  5. Elisabetta Gnone with 7 books! The Fairy Oak saga is just charming
  6. Moony Witcher with 6 books. Have I already talked about Nina and my love for her alchemic world?
  7. Jane Austen with 6 books. I’m so proud of having read all her major novels
  8. Colleen Gleason with 5 books (The Gardella Vampire Chronicles)
  9. Licia Troisi with 5 books. I want to read more from her!
  10. There are five authors I’ve read four books each: Stephenie Meyer (Twilight Saga), Ann Brashares (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Angelo Petrosino (Valentina), Lauren Kate (Fallen saga) and Jacqueline Wilson (I love her books, it’s a pity I didn’t have the chance to read more from her).

Usually, I don’t pay attention to the author; in fact, I read multiple books from the same author only because of a series. There are some exceptions (Jane Austen, Jacqueline Wilson), but sometimes I buy a book and I discover much later that he/she is the same author of another book I previously read. I hope my sentence makes sense tumblr_m4i9c7j9OB1qdlkyg

I’m quite tired (and hungry!), so I apologize for my mistakes

See you!

Summer 2015 – My anime list

This season I’m finally managing to properly follow some brand new series, for a total of six anime!

Well… They should have been seven… but one series doesn’t have any Italian subs yet, so…

Of course, I could watch it in another language, but I prefer to wait for now. There isn’t any reason in particular

However, the anime I chose are:

– Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace
– Joukamachi no Dandelion
– Danchigai
– Million Doll
– Non Non Biyori Repeat
– Gakkou Gurashi!

So, let’s talk about my first impressions!

Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace
Nice anime. It’s good seeing a mystery anime once in a while. I like the characters and the design and the plot is nice as well. Unfortunately, it lacks of something, but I hope it will improve more and more as the episodes go on.

Joukamachi no Dandelion

I really like it! It’s funny and lighthearted, it’s a nice anime to happily spend some time. Moreover, I love big families, so it’s even more appealing for me!

Well, I think it’s a pretty average anime. The episodes are really short; they are cute, but it hasn’t anything that can really grab my interest.

Million Doll

Even though it talks about idols, I find it really boring. Luckily, episodes are short, so I think I’ll manage to see it until the end.

Non Non Biyori Repeat

Second season for this lovely anime. I really liked the first season and I’m liking the second too. It’s really good if you want to watch something relaxing and cute

Gakkou Gurashi!

I was about to skip this anime at the beginning of this season. It would have been a big mistake By now, this is my favorite series of this season. It isn’t amazing, there are a lot of anime better than this, but it’s really appealing and I hope it doesn’t lose its beauty going on

Are you watching any of these series? What do you think about them? Which is your favorite series of this season? If you want, let me know in the comments!

Thanks to for the screenshots~

Top Ten Tuesday – Favorite Fairytale Retellings

Hosted by The Brooke and the Bookish.

I know I skipped a lot of them, but this week I find the topic really interesting.

In fact, I’m currently watching Once Upon A Time, so I’m recently… obsessed? with fairytale retellings tumblr_m4i9c7j9OB1qdlkyg

So, I’m going to make a top ten list of the fairytale retellings I want to read (not in a particular order )!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer – I read a lot of positive comments on it, so I’m curious about reading this one

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas – same here!

Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge – Little Red Riding Hood is one of my favorite characters from fairytales

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige – I read the plot and I found it intriguing; moreover I remember reading or watching something related to a distorted Oz and I really liked it. I think a darker or dystopian setting could suit Oz very well

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge – I’ve never really liked The Beauty and The Beast, but thanks to OUAT I changed my mind tumblr_m4i9c7j9OB1qdlkyg So I’d like to read more retellings of this fairytale!

Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay – Same reason as before

UnEnchanted by Chanda Hahn – The plot is REALLY intriguing, I’m totally looking forward to read it!

Awake: A Fairytale by Jessica Grey – The plot kinda reminds me of OUAT, so I’m curious about it.

Five Enchanted Roses and Five Glass Slippers (Fairy Tale Collection) – Several stories written by several authors. Why not?

The Word Changers by Ashlee Willis – Same as UnEnchanted

Have you ever read any of these? Did you like them? Do you have other suggestions? If so, please, make me know in the comments!
